Effect: Spectator thinks of any card in a deck of cards. You then reach into your pocket, and pull out a perfectly normal looking box of red bicycle cards. Fanning through them, you find that 1 card is face up, and it's the spectator's Card!!!!! But wait, you slowly turn the card over, and you also discover that it is the only blue backed card in the deck!
Ease of Use/Handling : 10 being Guru level, this effect gets a 4. The deck requires you to count through the cards as you fan, and this can sometimes raise some suspicion.
Spectator respose: Identical to response with Invisible deck. 8 of 10, 10 being someone passes out.
Other good Points: Great for use within stage mentalism routines, but I would not suggest this as a stand-alone trick.
Other bad Points: If the spectator chooses a red card, you have to pull a blue backed deck from a red box. Very suspicious if you ask me.
Overall: I suggest getting an Invisible deck instead. The second climax is mediokre at best once the first climax is reached, and the extra work is not worth it.

Yeah I like the Invisible Deck better as well, especially because with the invisible deck the deck is face up and the card is face down, so it's a lot easier to build up the tension and excitement before you reveal it. I also bought the Brainwave deck, and when I performed with it I had to put it in my pocket without a case --- veeery bad. And the point about counting each card as you go through would make it a 2 in my opinion. Also, you have to pencil dot or nick a couple of cards just so you can see where you are. My feelings towards the Brainwave are AAAAARRRGGHH. I would suggest something like B'Wave or Twisted Sisters, or Nick Trost's Eight Card Brainwave (uses the Olram Subtlety) if you want to do the Brainwave-type effect.
