I am having difficuilty getting the one handed reverse fan and the ordinary one handed fan to work. My one hand fan comes out to just over quarter of a circle and my reverse one just below a quarter of a circle. I have seen both fanned to a full semi circle. Can someone post some instructions for them? I know there are many different ways of doing the one handed fan but only know one and it aint working for me. The one handed reverse could just be a lack of practising but I have practised the ordinary one for 8 months with 2 sets of 10mins practice a day. Im sure its with my technique.
Thanks

As for the one-handed fans, the thing to remember is to hold the cards in position as per the one-hand fan very near the finger tips -- the way you get a beautiful, complete fan is by keeping it way up there. Now, the way to get a large arc (like you want to) is to not actually try to make the fan in one squeeze of the fingers: first comes the pulling with the 4 fingers in front, then the thumb drags the rest of the cards the other way. As for the one-handed reverse fan, I assume you purchased The Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes (please correct me if that isn't the case), which I don't currently own, so I can't help you (although I have seen some beautiful renditions of it). Maybe a helpful member on our forums can be of assistance.
